Day 1:- Arusha to Tarangire.

After breakfast at your hotel we drive to Tarangire National Park approximately 2 hours’ drive. The park is famous for its two giants, these are elephants and baobab. The name of the park originate from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of water for wild animals in the Tarangire ecosystem during the dry season, where the animals gather for quenching their thirsty. Visiting in Tarangire you will be able to see large herds of zebras, wildebeests, impalas and giraffes. Disused termite mounds are often frequented by colonies of the endearing dwarf mongoose and pairs of red and yellow barbet. 

Day 2:- Tarangire to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its iconic tree-climbing lions that often rest on tree branches. Passing through the park’s entrance, you’ll traverse a jungle-like ground-water forest, inhabited by troops of baboons, blue, and black-faced monkeys. The landscape then unfolds into woodlands, grasslands, swamps, and the soda lake, hosting diverse bird species like flamingos, pelicans, storks, sacred ibis, and Egyptian geese. The park is notable for its large herds of buffalo, elephants, hippos, reedbuck, zebras, and giraffes. In the evening, we return to Arusha, concluding a day filled with wildlife encounters and natural beauty.
